In 1892, Ellen White wrote that “the loud cry of the third angel has already begun.” Two months later, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg told the delegates of the General Conference that the key to the loud cry was Isaiah 58. His words went unreported in the General Conference Daily Bulletin, and were forgotten for more than a century. But was he right? What started the loud cry?
